Congratulations to Maine Boatbuilders on being recognized with the 2017 Mariners Award.

The award will be presented to Maine Built Boats as the embodiment of the spirit of excellence and achievement in boat and shipbuilding, one of the state’s oldest industries, and the one that has brought Maine and Mainers the greatest renown worldwide.

Event proceeds benefit traditional skills programs at the museum, such as boatbuilding programs for school age kids and boating safety and navigation courses for adults.
