Barnacles build their homes of calcium carbonate to withstand drastic changes in temperature, humidity, and physical agitation. Andrew Xenos of Xenos Works creates the Crustacea Cirripedia series to pay homage to their solidarity and to draw strength from their sheer will to live in the face of all odds. Every piece is first hand carved in wax and then cast in metal. By hand carving the barnacles, he is able to control the exact details and shapes that make the most realistic-looking and wearable barnacle jewelry.

Designing this A.G.A. Correa & Son diamond constellation necklace happened in an instant. One evening Tony Correa suddenly visualized the stars as diamonds. The next step was ensuring accuracy, achieved with the use of constellation charts. This piece shows the Big Dipper constellation (part of Ursa Major) but can be exchanged for any piece of value equal or less than $4,150. All 12 Zodiac signs are available. Comes as a 14k gold diamond constellation Big Dipper pendant with 18″ 14k white gold chain; pendant is 1.75″ wide.
