LIVE AUCTION ITEM: John “Jack” Gable, a contemporary realist Maine-based painter and muralist, is known for his vivid use of color, light, and detail and for his extraordinary breadth of subject matter. His subjects range from portrait and landscape work to commissions for Americas’ Cup crews, historical paintings and murals for corporate clients, and a wide range of subjects including sports and vehicles.

Oil Painting by Sarah Greenier

This framed oil painting titled Blustery, Owl’s Head is a quintessential Maine coast scene by Bath artist, Sarah Greenier. Greenier exhibits her work at Greenier Gallery in Bath and Small Wonder Gallery in Camden. She paints tableaus of picturesque Monhegan, Stonington, and Boothbay, in addition to Owl’s Head. This oil on canvas is framed in a 3 gold plein air frame and is 36 wide by 18 tall.

Gorgeously framed Pride of the Yard print, featuring the launch of the six-masted schooner Wyoming at the Percy and Small Shipyard in Bath on December 15, 1909. The historic Percy & Small Shipyard is now the centerpiece of the Maine Maritime Museum campus. Print by Thomas M. Hoyne III (Illinois and Massachusetts, 1924–1989). Overall 27.5" x 38."
